Tairawhiti Tours will collect you from your elected location. Each tour starts with a regional brief on top of Kaiti Hill and then we head out to the country after enjoying a quick coffee in town. Each location offers a unique experience with a gourmet picnic hamper to enjoy along the way.
Returning you back at 2.30pm to your elected location, we know you will have had a very fun and eventful day.

Beauty and the BushWalk through the famous Grays Bush, take in the sites from the Waimata Valley lookout then spend the rest of the day exploring Eastwoodhill Arboretum - “The National Arboretum of New Zealand” . It is the largest and most comprehensive collection of Northern Hemisphere trees south of the equator covering an area of 135 hectares and recognised as a Garden of National Significance
Beauty and the BeastSpend your time on the "Farm", enjoy the activities of farm life and take in the beauty of the land and animals. Learn about the seasonal activities and people that enjoy and make this their way of life. And there is opportunity to sample the produce with a New Zealand BBQ lunch. There are two options available, Wilencote Hereford Stud or Knapdale Eco-Lodge, you get to choose.
Beauty and the BeachOur coast lines are stunning and we will take you 50km north of Gisborne to enjoy the expansive scenery, stopping off to paddle the shorelines and then walk the famous Tolaga Bay Wharf. We will then return to the town beaches and travel 40km south to Morere Hot Springs, enjoy lunch and a swim in the tranquillity of native bush.
The picnic hamper is being provided by Black Pearl Catering, specialists in modern New Zealand cuisine and indigenous flavours.
